Whatsapp Stop Work in Old Smartphone - Millions of Users will be Affected

Whatsapp will remove its support for millions of old smartphone models.

After reporting this news, users who have old phones, will no longer be able to receive or send messages through this application.

By 1 February, 2020, Whatsapp will no longer support phones running with iOS 7 and Android 2.3.7 (Gingerbread).

Already those who have phones with older operating systems, they can not create a new account on WhatsApp. And until February 1, 2020, they will no longer be able to use the application.

To the announced deadline, users who use the Message app on older operating systems phones can experience different issues, and some options will no longer be usable.

Therefore, users who want to be able to use the app must upgrade them to a new operating system or buy a phone with a new operating system.

However, this is not possible for everyone because iPhone 4 or older models cannot upgrade to iOS 8.

Here is the list of other phones that the WhatsApp Application will no longer work:

  • Apple iPhone

  • Apple iPhone 3GS
